DESCRIPTION
Methyl polymethacrylate.
PMMA-Plexiglas (acrylic plates, plexiglass plates, acrylic glass, stiplex) is a rigid,
transparent thermoplastic material with a very good light transmission (approximately
93%). Due to its exceptional colorless and transparent nature, it can be tinted in a
wide range of colors and is thus suitable for all games of transmission or diffusion of
light and colors. Compared to glass of the same thickness, acrylic tiles are 2 times
lighter and about 30 times more impact resistant. Acrylic plates can be cast (CN) or
extruded (XT / EX).
